a late oscar post

I haven't been able to get around to post but hear are my thoughts on the most recent academy awards. I have watch the awards in a few years and only watched this year because Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin where hosting. I would have to say that I was surprised by this years ceremony mostly because Avatar did not win best picture. I would not be faulted for making the assumption that a movie that's made billions of dollars and received a lot of critical praise would win the big award. Something I was glad to see was Jeff Bridges win his first Oscar I have not seen Crazy heart yet but i am a fan of his. But he was not the only actor to win for the first time all of the other acting award winners where first timers as well. I got to say that after watching the Oscars their are a lot of movies that I still haven't seen theirs the hurt locker, A serious man, Up in the air, and quite a few others I still haven't seen inglorious basterds. In all I would say the Oscars where alright this year also i have a lot of movies to catch up on.

The bad The worse And The evil

When people talk about movies the conversation will sometimes turn to what they thing the best movies of all time are, some say Citizen Kane (1941) some the godfather (1972) but you never hear what people really don't like. There are a lot of different reasons someone would dislike a movie it could be an all around poorly made film not unlike any movie the SciFi channel put out. a couple in that vain are plan nine form outer space(1959). I've never seen it so I wouldn't know, another is Troll 2(1990) which didn't even have any trolls in it. Some movie are bad adaptations from comic books like Batman and Robin (1997) I used to like that movie when I was a kid and I can't watch it now. Then there are a new crop or crap of movies coming from two morons and that is putting it kindly I am referring to the something known as the (insert pop culture reference here) movies. Theses so called comedy's are quit awful and although they are commercially successful they are some of the worst excuses for films in history. But the question what the worst film of all time is allways differnt from person to person that's also the case for the inverse of the question to.
